Hi does any one know if Sheffield has a gaelic football team and if so where is it based etc. If not where is the closest team to Sheffield. thanks Kaz;)

Not that I know of. I would have thought one of the Universities might have had a team but I can't find anything. It's quite common for people to move from Gaelic football into Rugby.

there used to be one up to a couple of years back (I think).

I'm trying to get some interest in getting some lads out to play again and am trying to track some people down.

Also, there are teams in Leeds, Derby and Manchester that I know of.

Thanks...my partner used to referee for some games in Hertfordshire and my step son plays for the Irish Club in London Colney. i love to go and watch and was hoping for a Sheffield Team and also hoped that there would be a young team for my boys to join when they were older.. Good luck with getting one together and if there is anything we can do to help please let me know.
