Spanish goes quickly though (I tried to get on a course last year) fred_notdead 23-05-2005, 13:15 Originally posted by Lemmy I'd like to learn spanish - does anybody know of any courses/tutors in Sheffield? Dates for this are Monday 6th - Friday 10th June, Monday 20th - Friday 24th June (either 10am - 1pm or 2pm - 5pm). Sounds good, but unfortunately I am at work during the week so they aren't any good for me. I'm going to check the course at King Edwards. Cheers for replying to this! Bestman 24-05-2005, 13:53 You can do Spanish/French courses through Learndirect. These are partially funded and are home study on CD Rom together with some interaction with your tutor. You can start anytime. Go to www.learndirect.co.uk and choose centres, followed by your postcode and it will give the nearest centre. Not all centres run the courses, my centre on Sharrowvale Road does. JoaquiNation 27-05-2005, 12:23 I Know somebody who is experienced in teaching spanish at all levels - basic to degree. I don't know what the cost would be off the top of my head but could find out. She also happens to be a Uni. lecturer in Hispanic lit.....just in case you're worrying about credentials. If you're interested let me know. JoaquiNation 31-05-2005, 09:49 apparently I need to have had 5 posts before replying to any messages so here is my 4th JoaquiNation 31-05-2005, 09:50 and here is my 5th....hopefully I'm now able to access the messaging service!!
