Any error messeges etc.
I was about to trash mine last night for not playing music, until i found iTunes was trying to play the tracks and took an age to start up.

Im just trying using a different disc now (different brand) and see if that helps because I dont understand why it wont work. It does all the converting bit etc and then when it goes to burn it just stops!

Now im getting this message argh!!

Windows Media Player cannot burn the files to the CD. Verify that the disc is clean and not damaged. If necessary, select a slower recording speed or try a different brand of blank discs.

Have you got any other burning programs on your pc other than Windows Media Player? If so it might be worth trying that.

I'm having a similar problem with my PC, Are you using Window Media player 11?
If so I believde there is an issue with it recognising certain DVD/CD Writers, I think the only real solution is to install another software CD burning package....

Personally I think that the problem is likely to be something to do with how much your computer has been struggling recently and that the thing that needs doing in the short term is a proper rebuild.

I'll bring round the in-house techie to see what he can do if you like ;)

I have checked that it was burning for Audio and it was. I did chekc a couple of things and all seemed fine. I think it maybe Windows media where there is an issue I will have to try and find another Burning programme (if I dont have one) But Im not sure I know any.

Thanks for all your replies.

Medusa: I dont think its the PC itself if that makes sense I think its more the actually Windows thing or maybe Im not doing it right but it all worked previously when I did it a very very long time ago.

I want the music for my car :(
