Does anyone go riding at Snowdon Farm? I'm thinking of having some lessons there but it's quite a journey for me (from Hillsborough) so I was wondering what people think of it. I'm a fairly experienced rider and I want to make some progress as a rider if I'm paying for lessons - I've ridden since I was little and had my own horse as a teenager, and I normally ride my mum's horse on weekday evenings but it's getting too dark now.
I had some lessons last year and I didn't feel like I was making any progress so stopped going (I'm not going to name the riding school I was going to as it was a good place, I just think it catered a lot more for younger and inexperienced riders) and I don't want the same thing to happen again if I start having lessons again.
Thanks for any comments you have!

Snowdon is for sale at the minute and they didn't want to take me on when I enquired recently (for exam training, don't know if they are not interested in taking on new clients generally). I've ended up going to Westwood Equestrian which is at High Green and so more your end of town anyway, and am really happy with the standard of teaching there and the way the horses are cared for.
