Not really local .. and to be honest questionable whether any good.. but the very definately legendary HAWKWIND are on tonight at Corporation. I'm going for nostalgia value...

BTW Phil - are any of the boy is your band actually from Bury? I grew up there and bizarrely enough Hawkwind were really popular there!

Sorry not fom bury.......it just rhymed wi murray.....nearly went to the hawkwind gig but dint av enough cash so went to rotherham to watch a rock band for nowt

Think you did the right thing - Hawkwind was an entertaining night out - saw folk I hadnt seen for years... but the band were rubbish - like a pisspoor Hawkwind tribute band...
