I grew some chilli plants (Thia type) last year, got loads of chillis off.

This year I have got some other types going (habenero) (Scotch Bonet).

Just womdered if I could pinch the centres out, will they grow bushy or will it stop them fruiting"

I had so may last year I dried some, froze some and ate the rest.

Has anyone pickled them?

Pick them out, they should be fine :)

Definitely pinch the tips out! They will grow healthy and bushy just as all plants that are in the nightshade family.

Thanks all. Just another question. At what stage of growth should I pinch, they have two pair true leaves on at the moment. About 3" tall.
