At 4pm today a large window at the rear of Fretchville library was put through by a groups of youths as witnessed by empoyees at the local Co-op.

Police were then informed as aparently there are a number of computers aswell as the books and other items which could now be easily stolen.
Employees from the Co-op have been stood guard near the broken window since 4pm, having chased off the youths on three occasions since the window was broken and they are still waiting for the police to arrive.

What happens to our flippin council tax??? WE pay police services to do a job - that they don't do and then our tax goes up because the library needs new stock and equipment because the police failed to do their duty!!

6.25pm and still waiting for ya - boys in blue hello????

Frecheville is not alone . Our local primary school often has youths climbing all over the roof.Neighbours report these intrusions, but they see the flashing lights of the cars and are long gone. I think it's too much trouble for them to fill a form out.
However I think that tales of magistrates , when they are caught patting them on the head saynig " don't be a naughty boy" and giving them a lecture prior to letting them go

Relax. They may have been on a tea break, which is the excuse I got on one occasion for a 45 miunte delay when a robbery was in progress.

Just a little update - the window is still broken and not boarded up. As of 10pm the police still had not turned up.

If the police had turned up within even half an hour of the original phone call they would have caught the youths straight away.

But noooooooooooo. A bloody long tea break they is having. i wonder if it qualifies for the guiness book of records and if so will they get any money for it 'cos fretchville library may need it!

Maybe the police organised the breakin so they could knick the books to read on there long tea breaks and the PCs so they can download porn.
Mind you they were called out to an incident up our end last week and the response was very quick which concluded with an arrest.

The Frecheville police have all gone.
Round the library I can't see a one
Perhaps a leg they should shake
And get off their tea break
A policeman's lot is not a happy one
