Who else can't wait for fallout 3 to come out i know im counting down the days till play.com slap it on my door step. iv already said if any kids come to my door on halloween there will be a note on my frount door saying "go away!!! fallout 3 is more important!" lol.
So what do you guys think of Fallout 3. How do you think the game plays going to be?, how demanding is it going to be on your system?, How is it going to copair to the rest of the fallout series?, From the videos and screen shot you,ve seen so far is there anythink you think they have left out from the rest of the series that realy should be there?

Got my pre-order in already for the Ltd Edition.

Not sure when I will find the time to play it though as I'm currently being charmed by Fable II, and being scared witless by Dead Space!

Nice one i dident get the ltd edition because i have no place to put the stuff!. My friends got Dead Space its right scary, its that over the shoulder view thats kills me there could be anything following you for the entire game and theres no way you could ever know! I got Crysis back in april and iv only just started to play it so that completed now and loved it so now im just going through Crysis Warhead so im trying to complet that before friday and go for it on Fallout 3

The reviews are out and it got a 9/10 from gamespot and a 9.6/10 from IGN.

That's assuming you're reviewing the PC or 360 version, the PS3 reviews were worse due to lack of DLC and bad texture clipping/inferior graphics and more bugs causing the game to crash.

Is this game a proper open world game ala GTA where you can literally walk anywhere? Im not keen on FPS games where you have a set path that you have to take so tend to avoid them.

I haven't played Fallout before - would you recommend it to someone who isn't keen on Call of Duty, Medal of Honor and Halo - is it more similar to GTA than these types of games?

Fallout 3 is totally open. You can go anywhere within the game world and you aren't forced to play the storyline if you don't want to. It's like GTA in the sense that you pick up quests to follow from NPCs and many of these quests are for enjoyment only rather than to advance the story.

You can play it as an FPS if you choose but it's supposedly difficult to play that way. It's design more as an RPG and has a combat system where you can 'pause' the combat and spend action points on trying to pull off specific attacks i.e. headshots, shooting a limb etc.

I'm just hoping that they've managed to keep Fallout's sense of humour.

Well I have just been playing it for 3 hours straight. I'd still be playing it if I didn't have some internet things to attend to.

So far it has been brilliant and without a doubt my Game of the Year to date.

OK 1.35am and just got off playing.
