It depends how much you want but Lembas stock it.

Somewhere on London road will sell it, you can get dried sea cucumbers on London Road, so Carob powder should be a doddle.

err, what's carob powder, and what's it used for? I'm having a dim day today...

Its a healthier alternative to chocolate - no dairy, low fat etc, good for cooking with but not always great to eat on its own. It looks a lot darker than chocolate and tastes a little different but is yummy anyway.:D

If you want to buy smaller quantities than they sell in Lembas, try Zeds at Netheredge and "in a nutshell" on chesterfield road. Other than that there is the place at Hunters bar, Wicker Herbal in Town or maybe Holland and Barrats.

If you want to know what carob powder is like wait until it hasn't rained for a few days. Go into your garden and find the dustiest corner. Grub about in the soil until it's all powdery. Take it inside. Eat it. That's what carob is like compared to chocolate.........it's healthier all right because you'd rather do without if that's the only alternative!

riiight.. anyway, back on the subject, found some in holland and barratts, they were shocked when i asked as they had only just got it in and looks as though its really popular. anyway, the brownies are gorgeous!

Thanks for everyones help!
