Any pubs or restaurants that are baby friendly weekday eves?
I know about The Crosspool Tavern and the monkey place already. Are there any places where you can get a meal inside rather than resorting to a beer garden. In our party there are 7 adults and one baby so sitting in a beer garden/play area is very much a second choice.
Thanks

They are not everybodies cup of tea but we take the kids to the various Brewtsers around Sheffield. The one on Attercliffe is our most local and is friendly.

Is that kids or brewsters that aren't everyone's cup of tea
Cafe Uno on Ecclesall Road
With regards to restaurants, I take my baby anywhere that I want to go. I have only come across one place in Sheffield that we felt unwelcome. If you go out often, it may be worth investing in a portable 'highchair' that converts any chair into a restraining device!

I think they allow children (& babies) into Aunt Sally's, up near the Hallamshire hospital. Seem to remember they do food/bottle warming as well.
Chinese No1 buffet have discounted (might even be free) meals for children.
Yankees (or is it Uncle Sams?) - one of them always seems to be having a kids party!
Sorry can't think of any others at the mo, only know of these through friends with babies...
I know that spinrocs has high chairs and have seen babies there both saturday lunchtimes and weekday evenings so would guess they're fairly welcome.

The chequers at dronfield are really good with kids. Huge no smoking area and wakey warehouse in another building so no kids running about just eating with parents then off again. Fantastic value with two for one deal on all the time. ChaCha's indian buffet really good with young kids though they have to like curry. Jack (11mths) loves it! New India garden on chesterfield road good though early as gets busy later on. In fact we take our kids everywhere no probs. A little further afield the little Italian in Baslow were over the moon when we took Charlie when he was just afew months old and couldn't stop playing with him and entertaining him as we ate - check out their 3 course lunch deal. We try to go to places really that have alternatives to reformed chicken shapes and chips as akids meal, most places will do a half portion of real food from the menu if not ask why not

Thanks to everyone who replied to my enquiry about baby friendly pubs/restaurants.
