:o 7 years since you had a weekend to yourself - any you're asking what you should do :heyhey:

Well, suppose as the weather is forecast to be pretty naff but better at the coast, you could go for a romantic walk along the beach at Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay, book into a B&B and chill out?

Or - you could be really boring and make the most of not having kids around and do some decorating - but then, you really would need some :help:

I would go for the romantic and then go home and have more romance. You never know when the next weekend is likely to appear.

I know what it`s like, 4 years ago I had my first weekend without kids after 19 years without them.

It felt so strange, we ended up looking at each other, not knowing what to do and fell asleep. Not romantic at all.

Get your good selves over to MsB's Famous Woodseats Meet!

Woodseats Palace (Weatherspoons) from 8pm TONIGHT!!!

After that you can take each other home, have a game of strip crib and practice extending the family...

We will all be on hand to give advice this evening, and suggestions (no doubt many and varied) as to how to spend the rest of the weekend.

(Bet you miss the little blighters though....!)

CityGirl keeps asking me if we are going to attend tonight but being the shy retiring type I cannot pluck up the courage. As for practicing extending the family I don't think I need much practice considering the 5 children I have already added to the world population.;)

Saturday - go out for the evening and get really drunk.

Sunday - stay in bed until you have to retrieve your delightful offspring.

Maybe they need ideas on what else to do so they don't create a 6th little darling....

Thanks for the suggestions. The one about emigrating sounded promising. Any chances of an addition to the family where blown out of the water after I was dragged round Hobbycraft for an hour - what a passion killer that was!
