I'm having a rant!

I got home with my dad the other day and as we pulled up this utter idiot parked in front of our house in the PERMIT ONLY AREA. this obviously means, only people with permits can park, did he have one? what do you think?

He saw us park upto him further up the road, because he was parked outside our gate, (THE CHEEK) and he got out, his back wheel was 1-2 feet from the curb and he got his gym bag out the back, his mate got out and they walked across to the gym!

There are some people who will park on our road to take their child to A&E at the Children's hospital which I can understand because it's the nearest you can get and it's an emergency, but this guy was fit and well and going to the gym, IF YOU WANT TO GET FIT, WALK!!!

My dad really did want to let his tyres down but after sitting holding it for a while decided it was too risky in case he got caught.

What annoys me is he was outside my gate, I'm disabled and have to park my car in the visitors area because I don't have a permit or disabled square yet. If I'm a resident and will park my no permit car in visitors area, why can't visitors???

Thankyou for reading, rant over! :D

Arh, where is a match stick when you need one! The best one is to let enough air out of the opposite tyre too, this gives a really weird ride to the driver and it tales days for them to figure it out :hihi:

Some people don’t care where they park just as long as its as close as humanly possible to where they want to be. I was at the dry cleaners the other day and a woman pulled up right outside in a 4x4 parked half on the pavement and half on the road on double yellow lines! The thing was there was a free space not 4 metres away

Hi Serapis,

Yeah, the thing is, he could've parked in the visitors area but that was quite full, if he was gonna park in the permit area, there was about 4 metres of road where there's no gates so he didn't have to park in front of ours!!!!!

Or get a tool from car spare shops to take out the valve - that way it can't be pumped back up! Be sure to do two though, so they can't use the spare wheel!

Sadly, all this is now considered criminal damage and it's us who get into trouble for doing it.

I'm amazed at the number of people who have suggested criminal damage as a way of sorting this out. :loopy:

Here's a suggestion: have some guts and self respect and take it up with the driver concerned, face to face. Civilised people manage to sort out much bigger problems than this without the need to resort to cowardly vandalism.
