How do I change the keyboard £ sign to print that - at the moment when I go to £ I get a hash sign??

start>controlpanel(classic view on the left)>regional & language settings.keyboard make sure its set to english

Sounds like you've got your keyboard set to English US rather than English UK. Assuming you're using Windows, Start>Control Panel>Regional settings you should get you in the right area.

I think you may have your keyboard settings as US. Go to start>controlpanel>regional settings and set to uk.

Either that, or in the bottom right in the taskbar you should see "EN". Right click on that, and then choose "Settings". In there ensure that all settings are to "English - United Kingdom".

Again, that's assuming you're using Windoze.
