I would like to get rid of the 02-UK logo on my phone so my wallpaper isn't obstructed.

It's a Nokia 6230.

I can go:

Settings > Display Settings > Operator Logo

but when I select the latter option (which is 'greyed out') I get an info screen saying 'No logos in phone memory'.

Does anyone know how I can lose the logo on the screen?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm. Maybe it would be possible to download a blank logo?

Is it an actual picture logo or is it text clarifying which network you're on?

Take the sim card out and see what happens when it doesn't connect to a network.

It's the network-clarifying text.

It disappears if I lose signal...

You need to download a blank logo to replace it. You can get one from here (http://www.jhonny.org/wap/)
