Has anyone heard the rumour that we are getting more tickets? I need 2 but only had one semi final stubb so i gave that to one of the lads at work as you can only get one ticket with one stubb. Now I am going to have to go down Tuesday if there are any left but I've heard a rumour today that we are getting another 13,000 has anyone heard the same?

Hartlepool are advising they will not be able to sell out their 25,000 allocation - average gate around 6,000 so will be sending some back which Wednesday will get a % of. The rest go for jollies / comps etc

There should be more than enough tickets for anyone that wants to go.

I guess this is when we find out if Wednesday fiddle the attendance figures. 33k tickets available for Cardiff and a declared attendance of 28k at the home leg. It will be interesting to see how many tickets go on general sale on Tuesday.

Get this - apparently there were only 100 more fans at the home game against Hull in December than at the Brentford playoff home leg.

Hmmm - West stand was packed out and fans were queuing outside the away end up to 30 mins into the game against Hull. It seemed pretty orderly against Brentford.

God, I shouldn't be this cynical when Wednesday are ploughing on so well. We'll all be united (not literally) in Cardiff - up those Owls!! :-)

If you think wednesday are bad, Ive just been reading on the Hartlepool site and they arent even seeling them at the ground as they dont have the facilities, theyre using an ageny called 'SEE' who are selling the tickets for them via phone and internet, and putting some nice charges on! Also I read early someone was on about hartlepool not selling all there tickets, on the website they were asking everyone to get their tickets by monday so they apply for more if required!

At a time like this its not a time to be dissing the team or their facilities, you should be behind them all the way...dont rush things. They have reassured people that everyone with priority tickets will get a ticket so whats the fuss? I havent got my ticket yet but I will be getting it tomora...Just chill and give wednesday the support they need! Up the owls!!!

I cannot believe that Wednesday tried to sell 33,000 tickets through their ticket office.

At least they could learn something from United. Allocate the tickets by pricing. Allocate turnstyles to each price. People then queue at the appropriate turnstyle for their ticket handing in vouchers etc as they do so. Cash only. None of this make cheque payable to the Football League lark etc.

Ive been to two semi finals and a play off final in the last few year. Got the tickets I needed and never queued for more than a hour.

They changed it yesterday to start doing this. Those who were waiting Thursday/Friday were waiting for upto 5 hours.

I got my ticket the first day they went on sale about 2 in the afternoon. I have an Owls away card (OAC), season ticket and went to the first leg of the playoffs. I also went to the away leg but that stub wasn't needed. I went into the ticket office walked straight into the front and got a ticket on the halfway line, bottom row of the middle tier. Others in the same situation as me we feel, not having to que and getting the best seats are our reward for following the blue and white wizards through thick and thin.

I hear that there are some more £50 tickets in this latest batch of tickets. What happens to those who couldn't get any £50 tickets from the first batch and subsequently purchased cheaper tickets not knowing that there would be an extra allocation.

It doesn't seem like a fair system to me.

 having returned from a few days working away, i find that two or three are having a pop at me for speaking my mind about the office staff at sheffield wednesday (not the actual footballing players) like i said before "moronic jobsworths"
the owls football players have my 110% support and i wish them all the best for sunday, if they play half as good as liverpool played in the second half last night (well done chaps) it will be a walkover.
anyway enough of this banter, hope everyone has got their ticket have a brill and trouble free day out and "COME ON YOU OWLS" :D

i know that this is way too late but i have to say that it was just a question of timing, to sell that many tickets in the short time space that they did, they didnt do a bad job, as it is also the time that most of the staff would be on holiday. i went to get mine the day before they went on general sale and got to the ticket office with just 15 mins left before the place closed for the day and there wasn't anyone there purchasing tickets because they had already gotten them.
its all irrelevant now as we all went and saw the match of the season and best of all, the last league 1 match that we will be in ever, hopefully.

Well MrReginald D you seem a very rude young scally who does'nt seem to consider not all us can make the game sdue to work commitments whilst others simply cannot afford the price of a ticket to see the boys in blue these days. It's not like back in day when it would cost a few bob, so consider that beforeyou go mouthing off next you wee young scally

I’ve been a way from Sheffield for a long time a very long time and I don’t understand the politics of the situation over there. But for Christ sake lets all pull in the same direction the sort of crap that gets posted across various forums which are linked too this truly wonderful club is disgusting. Look at the crap we’ve been through since 1989 who could ever forget the Hillsborough disaster winning a league cup losing a league cup and F.A cup relegation/promotion importing Italians at some stupid price only to see the P***off free of charge. To the current day where we are greatly in debt and the way it looks there’s no way out of it. Now we must consider use very lucky to get Paul Sturrock In the top job and what a wonderful job he’s done. I must admit there have been times where I’ve been extremely embarrassed about the team’s performance and I’m ashamed to admit this. Come on guys lets get this club where it truly belongs and that’s in the premiership, all we need is some Russian oil cartel or Arab. Geez Emirates airlines have just re-sponsored and Australian Rules football club to the tune of 9million Aussie dollars over 3 years. Lets face it Aussie rules is not a game played world wide.
Signed
Frustrated.

This link is saying we have passed our season ticket sales ALREADY this season, with 13300 being snapped up...
I think so far its only for renewals and other members with the tickets to go on general sale on 4th July.
If anyone could clarify this i'd be most grateful.

I reckon we'll sell about 16500 which ain't half bad!!!
