You could try Source Sounds on the Thorncliffe Industrial Estate at Chapeltown or Technicar on Abbydale Rd.Out of the two i,d use Source Sounds, they,e dont sell cheapo gear though, but they certainly know there stuff. They also have a full fitting service too.On a personell note i just bought two twelve inch subs (Vibe Black Air II,s and made my own box useing Vibes own sizes, coupled with a 1200 mono amp they sound great.

Hope this helps a bit :) :) :)

I've got a bassbox, amp and Rockford Fosgate sub upstairs in my loft. Hadn't really thought of selling them, but suppose they're only taking up space.

Source are amazing. They're not cheap but they can do full builds that are incredible. Can fit it to the car so it looks standard using cloth, leather, alcantara, anything you like. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Technicar on Abbeydale Road are also really good. Of the two, Source have a slight edge, particularly if you want higher end stuff.

Autotex on St Marys gate is also quite good. Personally I'd stay away from the vibe stuff, fitted a full vibe set up on the ms motor last year. Font components rear coaxials and a trap 2 sub. Went against my better judgement with it and wish that for the same money I'd have gone to source sounds.

No offence but if you can't afford car audio direct then you will almost certainly not be able to afford Source Sounds. Give ebay a try.

I believe only Bose make 'bass cannons', proper ones anyway. Its meant to be mounted on wall and is 15 feet in length for a 12inch driver. All you really need is a sealed enclosure roughly the right size for your car, with a driver to match.

As good a place to mention as any that I had a set of car speakers replaced by insurance when they were stolen in 2005, but haven't had anything to fit them to since so they remain completely unopened and I would like to sell them if I can.

2x Kenwood 12" Subwoofers
1x Unported Black-Carpeted Twin Subwoofer Box
2x HQ718 (i think, would have to check) Kenwood 6x9"s

I also have another 12" kenwood sub that has been used but is in good condition in it's own separate grey-carpeted unported enclosure and two amplifiers. One's a 300W the other's a 600W I think - both used.

I don't mind.. you can take bits or the whole job lot..

I will have a think and try to put a decent value on each part.

Will also try and gather the exact model numbers for you so you can check out the specifications.
