Just wondered if anyone knew of any local travel agents that might have a 'late deal' for me and my family.
Going hol hunting at the weekend and wondered if anyone had picked up any'Bargains' and if so...where from?
Thinking of Greece or Cyprus although ive heard Cyprus is a bit expensive when you get there.Not a skinflint,just dont like paying more than i have to!lol!

I think there just might be one in Meadowhall
The one at Meadowhall Retail Park is pretty good, we used them a couple of times and the staff were well friendly and helpful. We even had a phone call when we got back from a late deal asking us if we'd had a good holiday!
Last couple of years though we've always booked our holidays on-line. Usually check the BMI Baby website for cheap flights and then book accommodation. We've had some great bargains this way - got some return flights to Spain earlier in the year £40 return inc taxes.
the best i ever got was from Lunnpoly now Thomsons @ CPeaks, £125 for kos for 7 days (half the brochure price it turnde out). they have just got me one for egypt next year £270 cheaper than Thomas Cook from Thomas Cooks own brochure.

We've booked loads of late deals to Greece with Thomson (www.thomson.co.uk) and never been disappointed. Can't say the same for some other companies.
Mind you, it's not that warm at this time of year - Cyprus would be better from that point of view.
I would have thought the original poster will have been on holiday by now, as they posted the enquiry in 2005.

Blame that Tracy, I reckon she's searched for all threads with travel agent in them and posted the same reply.
PMSL!! On topic though, I found an excellent 4 star Hotel near Blackpool a few years ago for Mum and Dad's 30th wedding anniversary through Ilkeston's on the Meadowhall Retail Park... 4 star Hotel for less than 100 notes each, bargain! :D
