Hi everyone, does anyone out there have any info on how much it would cost for a full or half un-butchered pig and any recomendations for a good butcher to supply one? Me and a friend are considering going halves on one to cut costs.

Hi there. I enquired about this about 4 or 5 weeks ago - for a full pig was about 65/70 quid and for a full lamb was 95 quid. That was at my local butchers at Firth Park.

I was looking at booking a hog roast for 30 people a few weeks ago - and it was going to cost 450-00!

Great mark-up if a whole pig only costs 70 quid.
