I suppose not too bad for a work's night out though if your not footin the bill  tweetypie 22-10-2008, 20:20 I took my parents here on sunday. The food was really nice, nice decor and very clean. We really enjoyed it. We had the set day time meal £9.95 for three courses which was really good value. It would be nice for a big group. Best asking if the can do a set meal for you if lots are going. much easier to sort out bill if you are paying individually for yourselves. Get Set 26-10-2008, 10:26 Went there last christmas, although they seemed busy, everything seemed in control. medicgirl 26-10-2008, 13:16 Have been a couple of times, quite nice - didn't blow me away but good for what it was. Coincidentally going back tonight as have a voucher for a free bottle of wine there so will update on what it's like! jasd75 27-10-2008, 15:03 I've been quite a few times and as long as the company is paying its great! Decent food and a large bar make it a good night for all....do it.... medicgirl 28-10-2008, 09:40 We did have a lovely meal on Sun night, the only small downside was that despite the restaurant being less than half full, we still had to wait 20mins for anyone to take our dessert order to the extent that finally my boyfriend went up to the kitchen and ordered it himself! Other than that, food and wine excellent, much better than I remember it previously. michelley 30-10-2008, 20:19 iv been there one christmas with my work and had a great time, the food was lovely especially the mash potatoes - yum yum, the best i ever had anyway. Nice bar in there too! la_que_sabé 30-10-2008, 21:47 Erm..... our experience on the 3 for a tenner (or thereabouts) was (1) mud in the garlic mushrooms, (2) a missing pizza and (3) a hair (not belonging to our party - we checked haha) in a pizza. It's cheap and the food is passable if you like mud, hair and invisibility. The staff did give a free drink to those suffering but it should not have happened in the first place. xenia 27-11-2008, 13:11 My companion had a passable Pizza i had the most disgusting (almost liquid) Lasagne. Wont be going again. Pretentious and poor kitkatmoo 27-11-2008, 15:57 Been on a Friday night for a hen do and it was lovely (and the bill showed it) Went 3 years ago for CHristmas do with work & it was poor, service was slow (and it wasn't even nearly full) and food was mediocre given the price. Had a far superior, better value do at Bar 23 for Christmas last year - excellent all round. Didn't even throw us out when a member of our party drunkenly wondered into the kitchen to harrass an attractive female member of staff!! andii 27-11-2008, 23:15 never had a bad meal at antibo - great food and great service ! speenie 28-11-2008, 09:12 had our do there last year, mad busy great atmosphere and great food. i go there often and its never failed for me! |
