I have been in my flat just over 6 months now, and starting to feel really cold. I have no central heating and have been told itll be 2010 before they consider doing mine as it was missed for some reason...

is there another way to get it done sooner based on the grounds of my disability?

Contact the Council and also the Social Services. If there is a need to have the heating system upgraded because of your disability they should be able to arrange to get it done for you.

I agree with Bonny. I'd also get something from your GP/specialist to support your application. I'm assuming you're in Council accommodation?

i got mine in on medical grounds only took 6wks , they only need proof for your doctor for your disability
