My aunty is wondering if there is anybody out there that knows a club singer called Al Ford? (that was his stagename).
This man was her father and he played around many Sheffield clubs for 30 years and unfortunately passed away in 1988. He did many covers of Frank Sinatra classics. Apparently he was once booed off stage because he sounded so much like Sinatra that the audience thought he was miming! Only until he came out for an encore then he had the whole room on their feet!!

Anyways, somebody once made a tape of Al on one of his performances and he was on the verge of being signed. My aunty is wondering if any of you have heard this tape or have a copy of it? It would mean the world to us if you have any information about this subject.
