hi,
i have exams based at sheffield wednesday football ground, and was wondering the best/quickest way to get there on public transport? I would like to leave from the city centre, so could you tell me where the bus stops are in city ctr, for buses to the venue etc?
thanks

Take a yellow tram bound for Middlewood from the University Tram stop and get off at Leppings Lane.

Walk to the back of the tram and follow the road opposite down the hill.

You will see the football ground from the end of that road.

I'm sure there will be plenty of students to follow though.

or get 53 bus from city centre, every 10 mins and it drops right outside the ground:thumbsup:

I would recommend catching the Yellow Middlewood tram to Leppings Lane if you are near a city centre tram stop. The ground is about 3 mins walk from the Leppings Lane stop.

You can check tram times and fares on the Supertram website (http://www.supertram.net/)

Good luck with the exams

Dont follow the roar of the crowd when they score a goal, you'll be searching forever.

The 87 stops right outside the away stand on Leppings Lane. Can get the bus from outside the board walk and various other stops in town. Unsure of the times though. Journey takes about 20 minutes tops.
