Jules:

'There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee'

"Someone, at this table.................. is a WAREWOLF"

shouted by Dom Delouise in drag as Aunt Kate, in Haunted Honeymoon. I laughed so hard I felt ill.

Muddycoffee - my husband loves Mr Jolly Lives Next Door, so was thrilled when I got to interview Nicholas Parsons. He kept asking if I was going to conduct the interview over the phone or 'take him out.'

A man of excellent taste. I trust he knows that the full box set is coming out in the summer on DVD?
I cannot wait, no more grainy VHS at last.

"Ferris Bueller you're my hero!"

Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

From the same movie, Ferris (Matthew Broderick) is butchering the saxophone. Can't play it to save his life. He seems oblivious of this, turns to the camera and deadpans..."never had a lesson".

True Romance

I love that line. 'Vendetta kind of mood' it's just excellent! I don't think it would sound half as good with anyone other than Walken saying it either :D

Fave comedy line is actually from a 70s horror film -

"Tonight ............ the beast must die"

It doesn't sound funny and it's not supposed to be funny but the delivery, the scene, the voice ....it amused me and my brother no end as kids. So much so it was our catch phrase for years after :D

Apart from the ones already metioned on here that I like, there is the scene from Dumb and dumber when he sells their vehicle for a teeny bike:
"just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber,
you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself. ..."

"whose bike is this?"
"it's a chopper, baby"
"then whose chopper is this?"
"zed's"
"who's zed, baby?"
"zed's dead, baby, zed's dead."

Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction - so, so cool.

From "Elvira Mistress Of The Dark", after a large plastic letter has fallen off a sign and hit Elvira on the head.....

Bob - "Hows your head ?"

Elvira - "I haven't had any complaints so far".

She carried a sawed-off shotgun in her purse, a black belt around her waist, and the white-hot fire of hate in her eyes!"

Also True Romance

"Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, a half a pack of cigarattes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake: Hit it."

Blues Brothers
