I'm not normally drawn to City Centre apartments but this development looks really nice so I just had a few questions:

Is it quiet? What sort of noise can you hear?

Do you get loads of drunks around on a Saturday night or do you tend to escape it?

Are they spacious apartments (obviously depending on bedroom size; we'd be looking at 2 bed).

Any advice/experiences much appreciated!

Spacious?? How can they be spacious? It's a modern conversion.

Oh and it's Butcher's Wheel, why didn't they keep the old name or does every factory converion in Sheffield have to have the word works in it?

you mean on Arundel Street right (where Butcher's Works is - not sure if it's supposed to be the same thing as Butcher's Wheel)
i think you might miss the mayhem there, Arundel Street is just far enough off the student run - i walk past every day to work, very little vomit on that part of the street.....

Looked at these when they were being built, very nice actually compared to other city centre flats. Decent quality of fittings, spacious (for city centre) and fairly well equiped. The drawback (why i didnt buy) is there is no parking...at all, unless you pay. Major flaw for me.

Unrecordings and sweetcorn - thanks for your comments.

We don't have a car so it wouldn't be too much of a problem for us.

And you're right, Arundel Street is slightly more off the beaten track.

Anyone living there now who could offer some advice?
