I have just started to learn a bit of magic but am in need of certain supplies for some more advanced magic. Does anybody know of a shop in sheffield that sells magic equipment?

Was one on the road that leads to park square roundabout a bit back, near Granellis i think. but it vanished in to thin air, just like magic.

On another point, does anyone remember going past Granellis when you were younger and seeing the window full of out of date broken biscuits.

eh! The good old days.

Have you been to the moots in Handsworth?

Does anybody know if Moonmaiden's shop (Shades) is still going in Hillsborough?

Shades (or 'The Shades') is still open (Langsett Rd) but you never see any customers go in or come out. I always imagine going in, pinging a bell on the counter and getting some kind of Mr Benn deal when the shopkeeper appears - walk out the back and you're in Cairo or whatever. Now that would be a magic shop.

the last thing i heard was it was boarded up and a bit of paper with a pentacle and we are now closed was stuck to the door. that was about a month or so ago so they could have opened back up.

was that mr benn or mr bean * snarf snarf* :hihi:

They have the Magic Studio open every saturday morning, I know this because I used to go a lot and met a lot of people there, I used to be a childrens entertainer and used to purchase a lot of my props from that store, they have everything from closeup magic up to full size stage props, well worth a visit, speak to Russel (the owner) if you get the chance.

the last magic shop I saw seemed to dissapear. One minute it was there, the next minute it had gone. I forget its exact location.
