Clarification: I think I'm looking for a scratch post with an extra, like a seat, rather than a full-on tower.

Hi - from what I have seen in shops around and about they are VERY expensive - look on ebay - they're much more reasonable priced and if you time it right you can get a bargain - we got a massive one - floor to ceiling - brand new which cost £23 including shipping from Germany!!

petplanet and argos have some. Seen one for 9.99 at argos with a seat.

Argos and Wikinsons are great for cheap pet items- I regularly buy a small cat scratching pole with toy for £6 from Argos for the rescues but they also have ones with perches on them for a bot more- much cheaper than the pet superstores
Once in a while, LIDL and ALDI have pet items on their special offers and their cat trees are fab value
