Just when we had reached the end of our tether, I found details of Bridge here on the forum. What an amazing set of people! You have been a great help to my sister, who has learning disabilities and also given brilliant support to our family as a whole. You've given her confidence and hope for a brighter future. THANKS!!!!
I'm with them as well, although for reasons I can't go into, I don't think much will come from them for me work wise.
And no, it is NOT because I am workshy before anyone even starts.

They might be a brilliant organisation for people with learning disabilties - I think this is where their expertise lies. I had a terrible experience with this project, i.e, finding the whole experience so stressfull that I ended up back on anti-psychotic medication for the first time in six years.

Hi
Just a note to say that I used to work for Bridge but I dont work for them now.Bridge only support people with mental health problems/learning difficulties and aspergers/autism in to employment.
For all other enquiries about getting in to work for anyone not covered by the above, you can get in touch with JCP or SOAR or ZEST depending on the area that you live in.SOAR and ZEST have keyworkers /community engagement officers who support people.
I work personally now(privately) with individuals with Asperger Syndrome, their families and with Companies ,training staff to raise awareness of AS.
I also do talks to universities and training for schools.
Just thought that I would clear this matter to avoid confusion.
Thanks
