hello everyone, i recently bought a kodak digital camera and after installing the software it now loads up kodak easyshare everytime i turn my computer on an its gettin on me nerves lol. have had a look at the options an wot not but cant find out how to stop it doing this, does anyone know? any help will be greatly appreciated, thanx :)

start > run > msconfig

See if it shows up in startup and if it does untick :-)

however, should you never have used ms config before,you may want to know that when you use it, the next time you reboot your pc a little warning box will appear saying you have messed with stuff. dont worry, just tick dont show this message again, and it will go away.

while you are in ms config, untick any other boxes of things that you dont need to start up, this will knock a bit of time off how long it takes your pc to load up. i only have my anti virus and firewall loading up.

Check the startup folder in your start menu - if there's a shortcut in there you can safely delete it. Otherwise I think there's an option in the program itself to stop it running when you power the PC on - try right clicking the icon and see if there's a link to options in there?

try downloading Crap cleaner that'll sort it amongst other things

start > run > msconfig
