Hi my husband is currently looking for work. His main skill set is in electronics including CCTV, fire alarm, data cabling and access control installations and service. He has 10 years of field experience.

There seems to be so few electronics jobs around South Yorkshire, they are all for electrical work! He is willing to branch out and try electrical work - perhaps starting as an electricians mate/helper.

Does anyone have any work available? Even if it's just temporary?

How would he get into electrical work - are there certain training courses that you have to undertake as 'a minimum'?
