I'm wanting to start boxing/kickboxing/martial arts to get fit.
I've never done any before so wondered if anyone could direct me towards some gyms etc.
any advice welcome as i am a complete novice and wouldn't know where to start looking.

We do Amateur Boxing and i have a very good friend who does Kickboxing, but generaly to compete against other clubs etc.
However like the other guy stats there are numerous clubs which do it for fitness purposes to.

the Wicker Camp (Mauy Thai) fantastic classes and they also do Thai Bag class, 10 rounds on the bags, with 1 min inbetween rounds, doing press ups, sit ups etc etc

Monday/Thursday at 830pm

KNOX Boxing gym. Sidney street. sheffield town centre , near Decathlon sports shop and Niche nightclub(the OLD niche that is)

Tuesday 6-7pm

you could come to millennium boxing in rotherham, there is a facebook group an a website but i cant actually post a link until ive posted 5 times but a gogle search for millennium boxing or boxing rotheram etc will serve you well
