When i open my mail in outlook express the wanadoo search engine has somehow appeared and fills my entire screen i cant get rid of it any one know how to do it please.

Very strange...

Sounds like some kind of viral or malware infection..

You could try using CTRL and the TAB key to loop through to get to your outlook express windows and see if there's something being loaded in via the last previewed email but somehow I doubt that's the issue..

I'd review this post and following items in the same thread for some pointers you need to consider to get rid of the problem if it is indeed an infection of some sort.

No this isnt a virus or spyare infection. Its the "Info Pane".

Go to "View>Layout" and remove the tick from "Info Pane"

Let me know if this helps?

as avalon suggests - switch off infopane in layout view.
