Can anyone explain to me what happend on Sunday to move Massa up a place?
What is wrong with F1 at the moment they seem so scared that Hamilton may win the championship that they are penalising him left right and centre whilst ferarri are being given a helping hand at any opportunity

That's the thing. I'd said I wasn't going to watch it after the drive-through-after-the-race-shambles but found myself at a loose end yesterday. As I saw it, Hamilton made a driving error that the stewards decided "forced" raikonnen off the road, so got a penalty. Kubica forces raikonnen off the road later, but because he's not a McLaren driver, no penalty. Massa then drives into Bourdais, red car rule applies, penalty to the other guy. Massa drives off the track twice in one race, only gets a penalty once.
They really have got to stop with all the penalty rubbish or start dishing them out evenly.
Bourdais was penalised 25-seconds for a stop-go penalty that came too late to be served during the race. It was, I believe, for an incident involving him and Massa.

So it's not just me then?

It was, but the commentators seemed to think that massa leaving the pits was more at fault than Bourdais who kept to his racing line.
They always seem to be able to cover their backs with the infinite complexity of the rules!
Pretty much everyone thinks that the FIA is biased against McLaren. The important point for right now, though, is that that isn't what's costing Hamilton points. He drove himself off the road at turn one, trying to defend a position that he didn't even need to be in. He could finish 19th in the last three races, as long as Massa is behind him; the other cars are irrelevant.

It was Bourdais leaving the pits... Massa had ample time to see and deal appropriately but decided to cut him up. Bourdais, quite rightly, didn't just yield (they were racing for position) and when Massa drove into him somehow ended up with the penalty. Absurd.
