Heard on the news this morning (17/5) that poor Kylie has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

I'd like to offer my best wishes and hope that the treatment sees this cancer disappear. Get well soon.

(From someone who lost his father to cancer.)

Hopefully they'll have caught it early enough to treat it effectively. I hope she makes a swift recovery.

It's not nice to hear of anyone havng to be given a diagnosis like this.

The singer Anastacia has had a bout with it in the last year or so, and seems to have come through it okay, as has Delta Goodrem (who has been having treatment for lymphoma)

Poor, poor girl!

At least it's in the early stages, i'm sure her chances of beating it are very high.

Fingers x'd everyone

I am sure she will pull through just fine... Its been caught at it's very early stages... so let keep our fingers crossed....

Anastasia herself not so long ago was in the same position as our Kylie... Now look at her! my partner & I went to see her back in March and she was fantastic she thanked her friends/family & fans for all the kind support she had received... was very emotional...

I feel Anastasia will be one of many great inspiration's to Kylie and anyone in fact who maybe suffering themselves...

Best Wishes to our Queen of Pop...

Oh no! I was watching Kylie the other day on T4 and i was saying to my boyfriend that she is so lucky, she has a stunning body, great smile, really striking to look at, seems like she has such a nice, friendly personality, great dancer, a beautiful voice, very talented, the queen of pop, must be rolling in it and there never seems to be bad stories about her in the press. I shouldn't have said anything. Knowing me i probably jinxed her! :( Hope she is ok, she is a fighter. Breast cancer or any kind of cancer makes me sad.

I have been a fan of Kylie since she was in Neighbours, everyone used to take the mick out of her but now she is huge in the music industry and her concert this year was amazing.
It was a shock to hear she had breast cancer. Glad to hear the surgery went well and I hope she gets well soon. (Best Wishes to anyone else with Breast Cancer and I hope the Race for Life has and is helping raise lots of money to help anyone with Cancer).

It is sad but lets not forget that she is only one of thousands of women who find that they have breast cancer.

I might sound cynical, but she probably has a better chance of survival than you or I would....... she finds the lump on Monday and has surgery on Friday.

Saying all that, I know from personal experience what she has gone through, and I wish her all the best.

Kylie has joined the debate that Herceptin should be available for every breast cancer sufferer, although there is millions raised every year to help find a cure for cancer, when a drug that can help save someone's life, then local authorities say we cannot afford this drug,it is a disgrace & when the Government can spend more on war & hold billions of lottery money & not on something to save someones life it is totally out of order. The company who has made this fantastic breakthrough with this lifesaving drug is now begging for a licence to get this drug to any of the Breast Cancer sufferer's who need it.If Tony Blaire's wife had breast cancer I bet he would sort it out fast enough then, but he can afford the £26.000 it takes to save 1 life.

Just to correct a very common misconception. Herceptin doesn't need to be made available to all breast cancer sufferers, only those who suffer from a very specific type (HER-2). Sorry I'm not trying to be pedantic I just think it's very important to point out because all this publicity is likely to make many women think there is a miracle cure available when in fact it couldn't help them.

The Lady who was turned down for Herceptin by an idiot judge, who cannot possibly know what it is like to live with this disease, she was turned down not because it would not help her,but the fact her local authority would not pay the £26.000 needed to help save this poor woman's life. The National Health was formed to help people in health related matter's & should not be turned away, but it's all about money these day's,when money is being kept by the Government from the lottery. This money should go to help the NHS not some pathetic artwork or Churchills papers.
