i am taking over new premises and its got bt line boxes from the previous tenant.

I want a business phone and broadband package, BT want £50 line installation and the best part of £40 per month for phone/broadband and i still would have to pay for calls. :(

Can anypoint me in the direction of getting set up with a cheaper provider, i am looking for free calls and broadband, i dont need a big usage contract as i will be the only one using the broadband.

And do i need to use bt for the initial line set up?

Please avoid Talk Talk! BT are worth the extra for the reliability and speed at which they fix problems.

I have another ISP at home because it isn't so critical, but my phone line and internet are essential at work, so I'm with BT.

If it is for broadband have you / would you consider a mobile tariff? I'll be honest I have no idea what they are like but it was just an idea.

I would always advise sticking with BT for line rental I know they are more expensive but for peace of mind its worth the extra.
