Kristian 16-05-2005, 18:06 Try G-mail. It's far more reliable! funkyukgal 16-05-2005, 18:09 wats gmail?? can she get into her hotmail with gmail? Kristian 16-05-2005, 18:11 G-mail is an e-mail service offered by Google; it works in a similar way to Hotmail, but it's far more reliable. In answer to your question, no, it can't help you with the Hotmail problem, but changing providers would help in the long run. Ant 16-05-2005, 18:12 What happens when she tries to access the site? She may have a virus. I had one that re-directed me to an alternate site. funkyukgal 16-05-2005, 18:15 Just says Check her ISP or their network server might be down. But i can get into her hotmail from my pc..so i dont know whats wrong with it.:( Titian 16-05-2005, 19:35 She isn't alone! I have been having problems too and ended up having to change my password twice. It kept saying username and id invalid. melthebell 16-05-2005, 19:53 i had a slight problem getting into mine yesterday, but a few minutes later it was fine again funkyukgal 17-05-2005, 21:53 thanks for all your help peeps :) Shes got it working now at long last!!! Captain_Scarlet 17-05-2005, 22:12 hotmail & MSN servers are working fine for me, haven't had any probs for a few weeks now Originally posted by funkyukgal Just says Check her ISP or their network server might be down. That message basically means they've screwed up, not the ISP ;) lonesome 17-05-2005, 23:40 Actually suprisingly enough, if she uses pipex then it wasn't hotmails fault but pipex's, they had some kind of routing fault but only for msn/microsoft sites, weird! As far as I know it's all fixed now though.... Originally I was with Freeserve's E-Mail, but didn't like the POP3 client system, so I moved to Hotmail - which rarely rendered itself properly. After that, I switched to Yahoo! who closed my account for an unknown reason. I also used G-Mail simultainiously with Yahoo! but it was often down... Guess where I am now... Back with Freeserve/Wanadoo (but their webmail service). We're currently with NTL, but I wouldn't trust their e-mail servers with anything, between Freeserve and NTL, we were with PlusNet (when I had Yahoo!), but we never actually used PlusNet's e-mail.
