Hi all
I want to know anything about cycle couriering & if there's anything like this in Sheffield.
Does anyone want this for their company?
This is the best thing for inner city couriering!
I know this happens in London, New York, but i think that it is a quick way of delivering things from A to B.
I want to do this, how do i start, anyone!
Cheers

It might be the best thing for inner-city couriering, except in Sheffield.
The hills, the spread-out nature of the city and the general distance means it'd mostly be quicker to just deliver in a van.
I'm pretty quick on a bike, but I wouldnt like to challenge a petrol-powered courier in a race to deliver a package from Hunters Bar to Halifax Road.
There has been a cycle courier service in Sheffield at one point, not sure if it still exists. Just remember seeing some guy advertising it on the Reclaim the Streets protest a few years ago at Charter Row.
He got told off by a motorbike cop for wheelying, if I remeber correctly.
Why I remember that all these years later, I have no idea...
I hope there still is a cycle courier service in Sheffield that i could join, i'm very fast on a bike & want to do this!
Even though Sheffield is hilly & sometimes is quicker in a van, car etc, it would be probably cheaper by bike for the payee!
Anyone interested! for a part time courier!

take a look at this guy, he may be able to help! He regularly goes past my house on his three wheeler!!
This also goes under the name of Bike messengering.
I''m offering my services to any companys that could use this.
I hear that Leeds, Leicester, Edinburgh, Bristol, have them & there's many in London.
Check out today's edition of the Rotherham Advertiser - i'm pretty sure i saw an advert for cycle courier jobs in Rotherham?Sheffield areas
