I was googling mental health complexes & found this:
A pattern of traits and behaviors which signify infatuation and obsession with one's self to the exclusion of all others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one's gratification, dominance and ambition.

This reminded me of some accusations against some forrummers from others so I read on...
Individuals with this Cluster B Personality Disorder have an excessive sense of how important they are. They demand and expect to be admired and praised by others and are limited in their capacity to appreciate others' perspectives.

I agree msb ... you have every justification :D

BUT ... it says "most" narcissistics are men, up to 75% - which I find totally incredible ....

I have been in a relationship with somebody with narcissistic personality disorder and it really isn't a laughing matter. Although some people may seem arrogant, you really can't compare that to somebody who is incapable of comprehending human emotion and who views you as a supply (likes some sort of drug). Being arrogant is one thing...having a personality disorder is another.

They say a narcissist is anyone better looking than you are....:hihi:

Seriously. The husband of a friend of mine, fits this description to a tee.

This man thinks nothing of asking his elderly parents to pay his bills (he's 55!) and making demands on their time and energy.

These poor people have more than fulfilled their obligations as parents, and have every right to be left in peace, and allowed to enjoy their golden years.

They recently wanted to donate a parcel of land to a local college. This made very good sense from a tax standpoint.

Sonny boy threw an absolute hissy fit over this. WTF? It's not HIS land! His parents are allowed to do whatever they want with their property.

They ended up not donating the land to pacify their son, and paying a ginormous tax bill. So unfair, but they're also enablers. It's too bad, as they are really nice people. But you can't tell someone what to do with their money, their kid, or their dog.
