Sometimes you go along and take a photo of something but you're not really sure what it is or what it is called. Use this thread to post nice photos of things you can't identify :)
What is this flower called ? Its really small.

It looks a bit like Herb Robert, but less pinky and more lilac-y? It's very pretty anyway.
eta: can't be that, as HR has single flowers
Hey thanks for trying :)
What do you call these carved railings / walls around a posh garden ?

Do you actually know what the flower is? Or were you really looking for the answer?
Stone balusters, balustrading? Like these ... http://www.torstone.com/balustrading.html :D
I really want to know the name of the flowers - so I can put the name on keywords for that image on the photo library I sell my photos through - helps people find them :)
Balustrade - thats it. Thought there was a better name than railings ! Thanks :)

that flower thingy is really niggling me ... it looks so familar but yet ... Maybe you should post it in the Gardening Group?
Did you take the pic yourself? What time of year, and where? Is it a wild flower or a garden flower? It reminds me of a cranesbull with the stems which is why I said Herb Robert at first. :suspect:
Yeah took pic the other week in botanical gardens. The bit you see is at the end of a branch and you get maybe 3 of these coming off a stem. Quite tall plant, most of it is stem and then these small flowers just millimetres across
