I am 24 weeks pregnant and been for both my scans. On my last scan i was told that i have low lying placenta, very low lying i was told to go back at 32 weeks to check if the placenta has moved, if not i will need to stay in hospital until around 38/39 weeks then c section, was wondering if anyone else has had this and their placenta has moved only not to keen on staying in hospital due to family,

Low lying placenta at 24 weeks has plenty of opportunity to move up and in most cases it does. Even if it is still low lying at 32 weeks there is still time for it to move.

my friend had this, her's was fine at the 3rd scan so she is able to have a normal birth.

To reiterate Michelle, you have plenty of time for your placenta to move, keep positive :)
