we got 5.5k, i think they've sold about 8.5k season ticket holders.

the 19.5k stockers, was that including season ticket holders or is that just for the 1 derby match then another 8.5k on top for season tickets

I'm only quoting someone off the Blades Forum, they have a post saying there are 14k tickets left for the home end.

I don't know what Hillsborough holds these days, i'd guess 38k which means 24k has been sold to date between the 2 clubs with a further 8 days to go.

I'd guess about 29k / 30k.

Is it on the tele i havent even bothered to check to be honest, if it is then i defo expect no more than 28-29 thousand.

yea, about 24k sold at minute then. i worked out hillsboroughs capacity at around 38k without the corner

24k with over a week to go sounds pretty promising then.

i think so, i doubt it will be less than last season anyway. does depend if the sales stockers put up are accurate, i havent seen anything of the sales so far either

The Weds. site says people who are on their database (if you've bought a ticket in last 2 years) can now buy 2 tickets.

No idea if Weds are going to put them on sale to anyone - seems daft if they don't though. The more people, the more cash.

thats the only reason for higher sales, if they had stuck to the origional 2 out of 3 home game stubs no where near as many would have gone, incuding me. Mainly because i am unable to go to every home game due to uni commitments.

Yes tele stuffs things up big time, i can't imagine how some of these scottish teams and bigger premiership teams feel.
They get there fixtures played about with like you have never known.
Sometimes Celtic or Rangers can go a couple of months without a 3pm Saturday kick off.
And the likes of Pompey who are far from any1 get there matches changed round regurlaly.

we managed 30k last season even with the 2 ticket stub rule, so its possible we will get more this season. i doubt they will put tickets on general sale, it would be nice if they would though.

I am a Blade and am now going but I would still prefer the ground to be full 'cos it's a better atmosphere. It feels better when a ground as full - I can't really explain why but it just does.

Lol, it wasn't the most intellectual of posts made on this forum.

I think it just seems more important when a bigger crowd is there though so that is maybe why I prefer it more when the ground is packed. I honestly hope Weds. sell as many as possible.

Well i went for mi tickets yesterday and i saw about 400 or so tickets behind the counter on the back and almost certain they said Leppings lane away fans only on them, so either they got sent back or you are getting some more.

Its not derelict, it just isnt used because of the quality of viewing.

well the quality of viewing as been ok in the past. i was in there promotion season. got a great view of our victory.

How do you know they were for Sunday though? They could have been for the next home game against Plymouth, they won't be bringing many on a Tuesday night.

Probably was i didnt see the match on them i just thought it was weird how they were there thats all, the security guard is like an army sergeant doing flips up n down the isles thinking your gonna raid the shop n that lol

The kops never been the same since the band stop playing, at time's it did bring for a good atmosphere.

ah the band, i wish they hadnt got booted out. i always enjoyed them being there even if they did sometimes just join in after the crowd started to sing. also we wouldnt have them playing music whenever we score, i hate that

btw, if anyone hasnt got a ticket i might have 1 for the kop if anyone wants it, £24 quid would have 2 give it on mtch day though
