i thought swansea went up as champions ? id like preston to go up but i doubt if they would last in the prem for long ,as this season has proved you have to spend big to survive

i hope wednesday will win tonight ive got a funny feeling its going to go to extra time and penalties but if we do win ireckon we will the play off final, just dont quote me on that:)

I'd go with your theory on ET & Pens.

Wednesday's form is fairly decent away but Brentford are a no-nonsense team, not pretty but good at getting the job done.

However, neither team sounded to play all that well on Thursday and they certainly didn't impress against us when we went there for the last game of the season with our players' minds already away on their jollies somewhere by all accounts. Although we and they both played a few reserves/benchers.

Good luck though - Hillsbrough is much easier for me to visit than Griffin Park next year

West Ham
Hartlepool
Lincoln

All three missed out last season and are therefore really up for it this time.

I have an inkling for Southend in the League two one though, being the best side to miss out in that division by some distance. However, a bit like United two years ago, the best side over the season does not always come out on top in the "cup" game.

West Ham - behind Wigan and Ipswich as the best side in Division One. Depends which West Ham will turn up. Preston have beaten them twice already. Will be very tight this one, don't expect a lot of goals. Also, West Ham fans are very arrogant so be glad just to get them out of the division!

Similarly, Wendy fans are very arrogant and over confident. Whilst they have the fan base (only club post war to send Cup final tickets back?), its a long way back when youve lost. Little has been heard of Hartlepool in the build up. Unknown quantity with an outstanding centre forward. In that division, a little class is often the difference and Adam Boyd may be that difference.
