Ok im buying north face jacket from blacks online and i want one with a cord on the waist/ bottom of the jacket- so i can tighten it kinda thing.
It says on the specification that it has a "Hem clichcord"...So is this it?
Sounds like a daft question but when your spending nearly £150 on a jacket u want the right one haha
thanks guys:hihi:
why not take a trip to their store and see/try one on? at least you'd then know (and also if it fits!) and if the price is the same instore, you can proudly wear it home!

I agree!!
I have a north face coat with what sounds like the hem clinchcord. I think of it as an investment cos its brilliant!!!!!
Dont know what Id do without it.
I got mine from the North face shop at Bicester shopping village (bit of a trek I know but I got a £240 coat for £129 and the mathcing gloves £40 down to £15)
Its a shopping village with every designer and everything is so cheap. Diesel jeans £150 in normal shops, £65 at the diesel shop there.
Fair enough some things may be last season but at those prices - who cares

It's the cord that tightens the jacket around the waist.

As in a cord that will be found at the bottom of the jacket?
im convinced!
Ron you can rest assured and make that big money purchase in full knowledge that a cinchcord indeed draws tight the hem.
Great jackets.
