Where is the area Brincliffe? Isn't it near Psalter somewhere?

I think it's near Nether Edge.

It's in between Psalter Lane and Ecclesall Road, and leading up toward Carterknowle Road, I believe.

I feel I can authoritatively state this, as I am sat in Brincliffe right now ;)

Yeah , it's difficult to say exactly where Nether Edge ends and Brincliffe begins. From roughly behind Gilder's V.W. garage , you've got Brincliffe Edge Road , running quite a long way towards Abbeydale , with quite a big area of allotments on your right.
If you cut through the allotments , I suppose the people on that estate you come to , would say they lived in Bannerdale or Carter Knowle ?
If , I had to bet on what constitutes , "Brincliffe ", I'd say it's a fairly narrow area , running either side of Brincliffe Edge Road-----but it is only a guess. It'd be interesting to know what the people who live therehave to say !
