That has totally made my day! Cannot tell you how pleased I am for you both. I was just on the phone to a friend at Attercliffe nick and asking her to get the ball rolling over there when I saw the post saying he had been found.

Bet he is tired and starving though!! He has done a fair bit of walking to get to Graves Park! Bless him - so glad he is back with you I could cry!  :D

yeah! was thinking that myself but then I thought that if I'd just got my beloved dog home after four days missing I'd be busy getting him fed, making sure he wasn't injured anywhere, giving him lots of love and cuddles, watching him sleep and making sure he wasn't any more than 3 feet away from me at any time.

Maybe Rainbow and hubby are just enjoying having Luke home with them. I am sure they will be on here to give us an update in time. :)

He has been a busy bunny. He'll sleep for a good while bless him (after he's filled his belly of course!!)

Just checked to see how you was getting on and delighted to see he's back. It gives us all hope if our dogs go missing!

Hi everyone, Lukes home now, he was found by under some bushes by a lurcher and 5 of his/her doggie friends whilst they where taking their owners for a walk in Graves Park, the ladies took Luke to the Cafe to get him a drink whilst my daughter in law, who lives close by went to fetch him and bring him home to us. He was very wet and cold, has lost a lot of weight. His paws are sore and his legs are stiff and painful but it didn't stop him jumping up to greet my husband when he came home from work early to be with him. He's eaten about his own weight in food and drunk copious amounts of water, he is asleep now in his bed wrapped in his blanket. When he's rested we'll take him to the vet for a check up but he seems to have survived his big adventure well, unlike us but I least I can stop crying like a baby every few minutes.
I will let everyone know how Luke is later but would like you all to know just how much you have helped since we lost Luke, I think I said earlier that I feel that I have extended my family this weekend and its a good feeling. We will call everyone who have given us their telephone numbers, thank you everyone
