Hi if anyone would like to join us we are doing a fun walk from Hunters Bar entrance of Endcliffe Park to Shepherd's Wheel and back. It's one of the last wishes of my cousin Christine who has learning difficulties and who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She used to walk a lot in Endcliffe with her mum before her mum passed away. We have made it a fun walk to try and raise some money for Sheffield Mencap who have been fantastic to Christine and the family through the years. We are setting off at 2.00pm on Sunday 26th October. Please join us if you can, fancy dress is optional, pushchairs, wheelchairs, prams and dogs on leads also welcome.

Thank you for the invite - it sounds a lovely thing to do. I'll try to make it but will be flying back to the UK on this day and may be a bit tired. Good luck with it.
Good luck with this, might try somehow to incorporate this section in our Sunday walk that day. I'll see what the others say when I see them.
Thanks for your replies, the walk is still on regardless of weather, it will be lovely to see anyone who can make it, we are going to be a sight to behold I think but never the less it's for a good cause.
Cheers
Zena

Will anyone have collection boxes with them, or have sponsorship forms on the day?
There are one or two of the regular walkers hoping to bump into you in the afternoon, and I'm sure they'll not mind contributing something to the cause.
Hi, just wanted to say thank you to any one who joined our fun walk. Sorry if i didn't acknowledge you, there were so many people in the group (74). We had a lovely time, the weather held out and hopefully we raised some money for a good cause. Cheers Zena
