Does anyone know of any authentic, family-run delicatessens in Sheffield? Preferably Italian but any will do.

They apparently do a very good Aerdna verdi, bocaj sausage wihich is coated in oregano batter, a bit like Italian toad-in-the-hole. they still charge in lira so it's multa good value! gularscute 17-05-2005, 03:14 I went there once. A woman who looks like the farmer's wife in Chicken Run was beating her husband over the head with an esiotrot sausage for eating too much popcorn. I ran out and never went back. tulip 17-05-2005, 14:31 He shouldn't have been eating popcorn in the first place! I remember him well, the popcorn eating thing was only done to annoy the mrs. Give the shop another try. They even sell books there now. I recently bought one called The legend of Dracon By Sopie Ekab Andreas, it's based on an old Italian legend and I had to have it translated into English but it was worth it. This Dracon character made Dracular look like a saint. He tortured people by annoying them into a catatonic state! nick2 17-05-2005, 14:40 Originally posted by tulip He tortured people by annoying them into a catatonic state! A bit like Eamon Holmes then ? |
