Got British Gas coming round on Monday to give me a quote for replacing my ancient boiler with a new combi, as well as whatever radiators etc need replacing through the house - but they're obviously going to quote me an extortionate price.
Anybody going to be able to give me a better price? Or anybody got an recommendations?
Btw it's a two bed semi, 6 radiators.

We used Ignite as several Forummers recommended them, they were very reasonable, prompt, tidy and generally "good eggs" . They serviced our fire as well.

I Can Quote you and Am Usually a 1/3 cheaper than BG And fit same boiler and rads.
Most of bg's heating fitters are subcontract ! So yourjust paying for the name .
BG prices are laughable.
There are plenty of CORGI registered plumbers on here who will be less than half the price of BG.
