Does this annoy other people too?. I buy a new pair of shoes and struggle to get the horrid sticky labels off that are plastered everywhere. Is there an easy way to remove them? If the sole of the shoe is a pale colour the scratching to remove the label can take off some of the colour and on the insides it stays sticky. I've tried nail enamel remover and after shave but that leaves a smell and sometimes removes colour and leaves a weird discolured mark. What do other people do?
White spirit does the trick...

WD40 removes most sticky label type residues from a lot of different surfaces....
Get it at petrol stations, hardware shops etc.
If your nuts are a bit rusty, it will loosen them, too :hihi:

Not usually, when I'm DIYing

From the amount of people I see walking through shopping centres with the stickers still intact I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.
It does niggle me when I'm walking behind someone with stickers on show and I'm almost compelled to dive for their ankles and remove the labels. Maybe it's another trend!
My girlfriend uses nail polish remover to get rid of the stickers.

I use something aptly named 'Sticky Stuff Remover' ! which is brilliant for this. Got it from one of those catalogues that come through the door - Betterware / Kleeneze ?
It's great for removing all sorts of sticky stuff ( including stickers positioned all around my house from the kids  )
Can be used on any hard surface that can get a little damp.
Oh dear , we're back to those rusty nuts again  :D

Tiffy - I follow people to try and work out how much they've paid for the shoe and what size they are .:heyhey:
