View Full Version : Are you interested in Hung Gar/Hung Kuen?
funkyukgal 07-10-2008, 23:17 Hi all,
At the moment in Sheffield, there are NO Hung Gar/Hung Kuen (traditional chinese kung fu based on five animals) classes whatsoever. I attend classes in Retford and I have persuaded my Sifu to start classes in Sheffield but only if I can generate enough interest lol
So hopefully, when i show him this thread and there are many responses from the poll, he will look for a place here in Sheffield!!
My Sifu Dave Levett is 5th generation Wong Fei Hung this is his lineage:-
Wong Fei Hung
Lam Sai Wing
Chan Hon Chung
Colin Merrell
Dave Levett
For those who would like to see the family tree before Wong Fei Hung heres the link family tree (http://http://www.hungkuen.net/masters-lineage.htm) There are also more information about the style.
He teaches chinese lion dancing and often hold *hands on* seminars (Grappling and Nunchaku are a few of the past seminars held) which he will also teach if/when he comes to Sheffield.
Please enter the poll and help me get Hung Gar in Sheffield!!!:help:
