I have seen a house for sale I would like to view but the estate agents is always closed when I get home in the evening.

I thought about just knocking on the vendors door but think this might be rude and inconvenient. Is there any way to find out the phone number of the house. I have looked for an online version of the Electoral Role but there is a charge of £24.95

Does anyone have any ideas how to find out the phone number that I need to ring them. I have heard of a software program called UK info' that can do this but again costs an awful lot.

I would knock on their door and ask if they have a brochure. They won't mind if they are wanting to sell their house. When I was selling mine people came to my door plenty of times and I was glad of the interest.

I don't want you to take this the wrong way and think I'm trying to be sarky, but, why not try ringing the estate agents during the day when they ARE open. I would say they should be open 9-5. Or, they have probably got a website with a list of their properties and you may able to email them with a request for said phone number.
